Addressing Concerns
At Spring Valley Elementary School, we value open communication and collaborative problem-solving. If you have a question or concern related to your child's learning, progress, or classroom experience, we encourage you to begin by contacting your child's classroom teacher. In most cases, concerns can be addressed quickly and effectively through direct communication.
If a concern remains unresolved or relates to a school-wide matter, families are encouraged to contact the principal for support.

Right to Disconnect
The Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board is committed to supporting healthy work-life balance and employee well-being. The Board's Right to Disconnect Procedure helps ensure that staff have opportunities to disengage from work-related communications outside of regular working hours.
While urgent or time-sensitive information will continue to be communicated as needed, families may experience a delay in receiving responses to non-urgent emails or messages sent outside of the school day, during evenings, weekends, holidays, and school breaks.
We appreciate your understanding and support as we work together to maintain healthy and respectful communication practices for all members of our school community.
